Porting Guidelines

A TRX Host RF Driver is included in the TRX plugin. This driver is a simplified interface for controlling the CC1407P over SPI. The API supports initializing the TRX, scheduling RF commands, and several utility functions including time synchronization. The Platform Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) provides the TRX Host Driver with access to hardware resources through a common interface. These resources are largely used to facilitate communication between the Host and the CC1407P, including resources such as SPI and GPIO. Users must implement this interface according to their hardware specifications. Porting guidelines are included as part of the TRX Host RF Driver documentation in the TRX plugin:
