The TMUX5508 and TMUX5509 (TMUX550x) are modern, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS), analog multiplexers (muxes). The TMUX5508 offers 8:1 single-ended channels, and the TMUX5509 offers differential 4:1 or dual 4:1 single-ended channels. The TMUX5508 and TMUX5509 are designed to work with either dual supplies (±5V to ±18V) or a single supply (10V to 36V). They also perform with symmetric supplies (such as VDD = 12V, VSS = –12V), and unsymmetric supplies (such as VDD = 12V, VSS = –5V). The TMUX550x supports bidirectional analog and digital signals on the source (Sx) and drain (Dx) pins ranging from VSS to VDD.
