7.3.6 Soft Start

The LM5192 has a programmable soft-start slew rate. The soft-start feature allows the regulator to gradually reach the steady-state operating point, therefore reducing start-up stresses and surges.

The soft-start slew rate can be selected using the SOFT_START_TIME bit in the MFG_DEVICE_CFG_D1 device configuration register according to Table 7-4.
