Updates: On-the-fly The IOUT_OC_WARN_LIMIT command sets the average value of the output current, in amps, that causes the overcurrent detector to indicate an overcurrent warn condition. This is implemented in the internal telemetry system by performing a digital comparison of the output of the READ_IOUT telemetry to the warning threshold. Upon triggering the warning the device:

  • Sets the STS_MISC bit in STATUS_BYTE
  • Sets the STS_OCFW bit in STATUS_WORD
  • Sets the OCW bit in STATUS_IOUT
Data Validity: Attempts to change the read-only bits (IOUT_OC_WARN_LIMIT[15:4]) are considered as invalid data or unsupported data (ivd) and the device responds as described in the IVD bit in STATUS_CML.
