Power Requirements

The LP-MSPM0G3708 only needs the USB plugged in and the debugger jumper block populated to power the device. With the onboard LDO, the 5V USB supply is converted to 3.3V with a supply of 500mA. The LaunchPad can also be powered by the 3.3V or 5V headers using an external supply. Do not exceed 3.3V on the 3.3V rail or 5V on the 5V rail.
