Table 2-2 shows what IO functions can be output on the different DIOs.

Table 2-2 Available IO Functions
Available IO FunctionsDescription
GPIO_SET_0GPIO is set high
GPIO_SET_1GPIO is set low
LOW_PA_AND_HIGH_PAGoes high when low PA or high PA are enabled
LOW_PA_AND_LNAGoes high when low PA or LNA are enabled
HIGH_PA_AND_LNAGoes high when high PA or LNA are enabled
HIGH_PA_AND_LOW_PA_AND_LNAGoes high when high PA, low PA or LNA are enabled
TCXO_EN(1)Goes high when the TCXO needs to be enabled. (only applies if TCXO is selected as clock source)
INPUT_TRIGGERUsed to trigger the start of commands
SFDGPIO goes high when the sync word is detected
ENERGY_DETECTGoes high when energy is detected above the RSSI threshold
PREAMBLE_DETECTGoes high when the preamble is detected
LNAGoes high when the LNA is enabled
LOW_PAGoes high when the low PA is enabled
HIGH_PAGoes high when the high PA is enabled
RF_TRACETracer signal
UNCHANGEDGPIO is unchanged
Using a TCXO as a clock source is currently not supported. When TCXO is supported, only DIO2, DIO3, and DIO6 can be used to enable it.
