DRAx infotainment SoCs – Automotive amplifier

The JacintoTM DRAx automotive processor family allow you to create an innovative, next generation car audio system. The traditional surround sound offerings have expanded to include:

  • Noise cancellation (road and engine)
  • Noise generation (electric engine)
  • Per passenger customization (sound bubbles)
  • Sound stage synthesis (music halls), and more

These new user experiences are no longer relegated to just the premium car owner. Rather, automotive manufacturers desire to differentiate across their product line by providing the latest features at the best price. Cost conscious consumers may also choose to upgrade by downloading new content once the vehicle is on the road.

The highly integrated and scalable Jacinto DRAx platform addresses this new market demand. It offers expanded processing power along with key connectivity interfaces to sensors and vehicle buses, which are required by these new algorithms. The heterogeneous multi-core architecture provides the designer with the ability to absorb adjacent ECUs for an optimized bill of materials (BOM) enabling wider deployment.

This is further facilitated by a large range of device offerings targeting performance from the low to high segments. All devices are available with hardware security features to protect against cyberattacks in a connected environment such as software over-the-air updates.

DRA78x Evaluation Module

General purpose evaluation module that integrates key interfaces required for Radio Signal Processor (RSP) applications.

DRA79x Evaluation Module

General purpose evaluation module for infotainment co-processor based applications. The CPU board supports interfacing with LCD/TS (1280x800) and JAMR3 daughter boards that will help jump start the application development.

DRA72x Evaluation Module

General purpose evaluation module that integrates key peripherals including support for connecting a camera module over CSI-2 interface. The JAMR3 tuner and LCD/TS (1900x1200) daughter boards complement the CPU board to offer a complete system that will help jump start the application development.
