7.3.7.9 Over Voltage (OV) and Load Dump

The OV protection detects high voltages on the PVDD pin. If the PVDD pin reaches the over voltage threshold, the FAULT pin is asserted and the I2C register is updated. The device can withstand 40V load-dump voltage spikes.
