Typical Application

The UCG28826 supports 65W AC/DC flyback designs which is useful for cellphone and notebook chargers, USB wall outlets, industrial power rails and server aux power supplies, amongst other applications. The integrated GaN HEMT and auxless sensing simplify the flyback design to connect only key power stage components and the programming resistors to configure the design for the target application. Table 8-1 lists the design requirements for a typical 65W notebook charger.
