7.3.24.3 Output Over Voltage Protection 1 (OVP1)

This overvoltage protection monitors the voltage of the FB-pin and the internal feedback.

As this threshold is referenced to the programmed V(REF) the OVP1 is still working if one of the tracking features (for example, DTRK or ATRK) has changed the Vo target value.

The converter maintains operation even the OVP1 threshold triggers.

The OVP1 is disabled during μSleep to avoid additional leakage current. The OVP1 signal gets masked that no fault is indicated from this signal during the μSleep operation.

This protection is disabled during the soft-start procedure and if the internal feedback is used instead of the external FB.
