LEDs

The BoosterPack includes a red LED and a green LED. The LEDs can be controlled directly by the CC1407P or connected to GPIOs of the host device.

When two jumpers are placed on P2 as shown in Figure 2-6, the red LED is connected to DIO5, and the green LED is connected to DIO6. The CC1407P signals that can be routed to the LEDs are shown in Table 2-2.

When the two jumpers are removed as shown in Figure 2-7, a jumper cable can be placed on pin 1 of P2 to connect the red LED to a GPIO of the host device and on pin 3 to connect the green LED.

The examples in the SimpleLink Low Power Transceiver (TRX) plugin use the LEDs of the LaunchPad (host device) to indicate various events such as packet reception and packet transmission. These signals can instead be connected to the LEDs of the BoosterPack. Refer to the examples to know which DIOs of host device are being used for LED control.
