Texas
Instruments Finland was established in 1967. It operates in two
locations:
1) Espoo in
the metropolitan area, close to Helsinki
2) Oulu, a
fast growing high-tech city in the North.
Both sites are part of TI’s Semiconductor group combining strong
knowledge of embedded processing and analog. They support different
activities such as:
Sales and
applications
The local
sales and field application engineer teams support the development
of highly technical solutions for our customers’ needs. These teams
support both vertical customers such as handset manufacturers and
the smaller customers working on various applications.
Analog
design
The design
team comprises highly skilled analog IC-designers. They focus in
high performance power management products for consumer analog
solutions. The design team is responsible for new product schematic
design, verification and laboratory evaluations.
System
expertise
The system
team provides high quality expertise to the specification and
architecture definition of TI’s mixed signal products. Targeted
applications include handset market, consumer electronics and
handheld devices.
TI
Finland is also active in university programs, supporting solutions
in many labs across the country.
