Forced-PWM Operation (FPWM)

During forced-PWM operation, the device uses PWM for all operating conditions. Forced-PWM operation has lower output voltage ripple and better transient response than power-save mode operation, but lower efficiency at low output currents (see Table 7-1).

Note that the device inhibits forced-PWM operation during start-up (that is, until the converter output has reached power-good for the first time).

To enable FPWM mode, pull the MODE pin to logic high.
