Output Short Circuit Protection (Hiccup)

The device implements the output short-circuit protection by entering hiccup mode. After soft startup time, the device monitors the output voltage. Whenever the output short circuit happens, causing the output voltage below 1.2V and switch current limit is triggered for 2ms (typical), the device shuts down the switching for 74ms (typical) and then repeats the soft start. The hiccup mode helps reduce the total power dissipation on the device in the output short-circuit or overcurrent condition.
