9.3.3 Power Supply Bypassing

The VCC and VCCO power supplies must have a high-frequency bypass capacitor, such as 0.1µF or 0.01µF, placed very close to each supply pin. Place 1µF to 10µF decoupling capacitors nearby the device between the supply and ground planes. All bypass and decoupling capacitors must have short connections to the supply and ground plane through a short trace or via to minimize series inductance.
