5.1 IC-ID

As for equipment intended for the US market, the radio or EVM needs to be marked with the IC-ID. The IC-ID consists of two pars: Company Number (CN) and a Unique Product Number (UPN) that is chosen by the manufacturer). To obtain a CN number, use the E-filling system. The CN is then provided by e-mail.

An example is: IC: 451H-2541SENSOR.
