ADVANCE INFORMATION
The AWRL6888 transmit subsystem consists of eight transmit chains (TX0A, TX0B, TX1A, TX1B, TX2A, TX2B, TX3A, and TX3B), each powered by an independent power amplifier with individual amplitude control. The device supports binary phase modulation for MIMO radar. The transmit subsystem incorporates four FMCW signal generating chains, where each chain is shared between a pair of transmit channels Channel A (TXnA) and Channel B (TXnB). The paired channels share all configuration parameters including a binary phase shifter; therefore, the two channels within a pair cannot be enabled simultaneously, allowing up to four transmit channels to operate simultaneously. The transmit chains also support programmable backoff for system optimization.
Refer to Table 8-3 for the transmit channel to BGA pin mapping.
