Connecting the MODE/SYNC pin to
an external clock forces the device into SYNC operation. Connecting the
MODE/SYNC pin low allows the device to operate in PFM mode at light load.
Connecting the MODE/SYNC pin high puts the device into FPWM mode and allows full
frequency operation independent of load current.
A resistor divider network on the
EN pin can be added for a precision input undervoltage lockout (UVLO).
For fixed output voltage
configuration, connect VOUT pin to FB.
Place a 1µF capacitor between the
VCC pin and PGND, located near to the device.
A pullup resistor between the
PGOOD pin and a valid voltage source to generate a power-good signal.
