Thermal Pad Thermal Pad — The thermal pad connects to internal PCB VEE plane through multiple vias for good thermal performance. Do not use the thermal pad as means to power the device.
Connect to corresponding force _Fx pin if not used, do not leave unconnected
Connect to AGND if not used, do not leave unconnected
Connect to respective channel VOUT pin when unused, do not leave unconnected
Connect to respective channel RCOM pin when unused, do not leave unconnected
Connect to either VIO or DGND to prevent floating conditions
Connect to LGND pin when unused
Note: DAC90802 implements identical independent DACs and a shared SPI. Pin names using a numerical suffix (except SDIOx) belong to the respective DAC, with identical functions for each DAC. Kelvin-connected pins use suffixes _Fx, and _Sx respectively for force, and sense lines. Pins (except SDIOx) are collectively referenced here by the primary names without suffixes.
Note: Connect the unused pins in accordance with the use case. For example, if a two-wire Kelvin connection is not required, connect the respective _Fx, _Sx pins of the same signal together to maintain the specified performance of the DAC90802.
