7.2.2.2.2.1 REG18

A 1μF capacitor (C14) is required to be connected as close to the REG18 pin as possible for optimal operation.

There is output short protection of the LDO.

The REG18 pin is available to be used external to the device to power other circuits but is limited to the maximum current of IREG18EXT.
