リアルタイム制御サブシステムは、テキサス・インスツルメンツの 32 ビット C28x DSP コアをベースにしており、オンチップ・フラッシュまたは SRAM から実行される浮動小数点または固定小数点コードに対してコアごとに 200MHz の信号処理性能を発揮します。C28x CPU は、三角関数算術演算ユニット (TMU) と VCRC (巡回冗長検査) 拡張命令セットによってさらに強化され、リアルタイム制御システムでよく使われる重要なアルゴリズムを高速化します。拡張命令セットにより、IEEE 倍精度 64 ビット浮動小数点演算が可能になります。最後に、制御補償器アクセラレータ (CLA) を使用すると、独立した処理能力のコアごとに 200MHz を追加できます。

The C28x Academy (formerly, C2000 Academy) is a resource for developers to learn about C28x-based C2000 microcontrollers.
