8.1.4 Device Initialization

Figure 8-3 illustrates the sequence steps required to initialize the ADS125P08, and to start conversions in continuous sequence mode. In this example, the device uses the dedicated DRDY pin to indicate availability of new conversion data to the host controller.

Configure the SPI of the host controller to the SPI mode defined by CPOL = 0, CPHA = 1 and configure the host controller GPIO connected to the device DRDY pin as a falling edge triggered interrupt input.
