8.1 Application Information

When the TIOM2212 is connected to one or more IO-Link devices through a three-wire interface (Figure 8-1), the application can initiate communication and exchange data with a remote node with the TIOM2212 IO-Link transceiver acting as a complete physical layer for the communication.
