8.1 Overview

BQ25630 is a highly-integrated 5A switch mode battery charger with NVDC power path management for single cell Li-Ion and Li-polymer batteries. The device features fast charging with high input voltage supporting a wide range of portable devices. The low impedance power path optimizes switch-mode operation efficiency, reduces battery charging time and extends battery running time during discharging phase. The BQ25630 input voltage and input current regulation deliver maximum charging power to the battery without overloading the input source.
