8.3.11.2.1 Input Overvoltage

If VBUS voltage rises above VVBUS_OVP, the converter stops switching immediately to protect the internal power MOSFETs and IPMID_LOAD discharge current is applied to bring down VBUS voltage. VBUS_FAULT_FLAG is set to 1 and the VBUS_FAULT_STAT bit transitions to 1. When VBUS falls back below VVBUS_OVPZ, VBUS_FAULT_STAT transitions to 0 and the converter resumes switching.
