The adjustable current limit of the device can be set using Equation 9 for valid range of RLIM resistor mentioned in Table 8-2.

The accuracy of current limit depends on RLIM resistor tolerance and KCL parameter variation (KCL_min, KCL_max) mentioned in Section 6.5. For example, for 33.2kΩ RLIM resistor with 1% tolerance, the ICL can be calculated as below.

ICL (max) = KCL_max / RLIM_min, where RLIM_min = 0.99*RLIM

ICL (min) = KCL_min / RLIM_max, where RLIM_max = 1.01*RLIM

For RLIM GND and OPEN case, KCL parameter variation contributes to ICL variation.
