8.2.2.2 LLC Gain Range

First, determine the transformer turns ratio by the nominal input and output voltages.

Equation 11. NPS=VINnom÷2VOUTnom=390÷212=16.25⇒16.5

Then determine the LLC gain range MG(min) and MG(max). Assume there is a 0.5V drop in the rectifier diodes (Vf) and an additional 0.5V due to other losses (Vloss). If using synchronous rectification like in reference design PMP23454, exclude the Vf term from below equation.
