Further, under rule 5 of G.S.R. 1047(E), all radio equipment must receive Equipment Type Authorization from the WPC prior to importation to India. Failure to receive the ETA can result in seizure of the radio equipment at the border. Likewise, radio equipment sold in India also requires ETA from WPC. ETAs are applicable for all companies importing the same equipment, regardless of which company applied for the ETA.
As long as the chirp BW of their integrated product is the same as seen in the TI EN 305 550 report for the same device, then the importer can be able to use TI's reports in their ETA application, smoothing import to the Indian market. TI stores these reports publicly in the TI Radar Toolbox (mmWave radar sensors → Hardware kits and boards → <EVM Name> → Emissions Certification → Red Certification Collateral → Report Name).
