Overview

LP-AM263P is a cost-optimized development board for Sitara™ high-performance microcontrollers (MCUs) from the AM263Px series. This board is developed for initial evaluation and prototyping as it provides a standardized and easy-to-use platform to develop your next application.

LP-AM263P is equipped with a Sitara AM263P4 processor, along with additional components, allowing you to use various device interfaces, including industrial Ethernet (IE), standard Ethernet, fast serial interface (FSI) and others to easily create prototypes. AM263P4 supports a variety of IE protocols, such as EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET®.

The extended LaunchPad™ XL development kit offers additional I/O pins for development and supports connection of up to two BoosterPack™ plug-in modules. LP-AM263P also features an intuitive out-of-the-box user's guide to quickly start design evaluation.

  • The SDK includes a real-time multitasking kernel, network communications support, examples, and drivers.
  • The exact content of the SDK depends on the capabilities of the device, but all devices share common APIs and build on existing proven software components to ensure reliability and quality.
  • The software components are fully tested to ensure that they work together with TI’s Code Composer Studio integrated development environment.
