Overview

IWRL6432 BoosterPack™ plug-in module is an easy-to-use 60-GHz low-power mmWave sensor evaluation platform for the IWRL6432 with an FR4-based antenna. This board enables access to point-cloud data and power-over-USB interfaces.

IWRL6432BOOST supports direct connectivity to DCA1000EVM. The BoosterPack is supported by mmWave tools, demonstrations and software, including the mmWave software development kit (MMWAVE-L-SDK) and Code Composer Studio™ integrated development environment (IDE) (CCSTUDIO).

Additional boards may be used to enable additional functionality. For example, DCA1000EVM enables access to sensor raw analog-to-digital (ADC) data capture. Onboard XDS110 enables software development via CCSTUDIO.

IWRL6432BOOST can interface with the MCU LaunchPad™ development kit ecosystem.

  • Cost-optimized PCB rules: lower manufacturing cost, no micro vias, only through vias, no vias on ball grid array (BGA) pads
  • Supports 60-pin high-speed interface for host-controlling interface, direct interface with DCA1000EVM and MCU LaunchPad development kit ecosystem

mmWave Studio GUI is designed to characterize and evaluate TI mmWave sensor devices. This package includes the GUI, associated tools and firmware for the performance evaluation of TI mmWave sensor devices. For more information please refer to the MMWAVE Studio User Guide and Release note.

This version supports the following device variants - AWRL6432 and IWRL6432.
