Drone vision reference designs from Texas Instruments

Description

The application requirements of a drone defines the complexity of the drone system which also defines the type of vision a drone would need. Different sensors are being used for collision avoidance and landing assist capabilities. Several vision techniques are being used which include:

  • Ultrasonic
  • Lidar
  • mmWave sensors
  • ADAS
  • These techniques have their own cost / performance propositions and fusion of these technologies can often be used. TI's products and reference designs provide solutions for all of these vision techniques.
