Whether used in an avionics heads-up display or missile seeking system or an attack helicopters' offensive weapons system, high performance requirements demand leading-edge signal processing and high performance data conversion products. TI's portfolio of high speed data converters and industry leading, high performance ARM processors and digital signal processors (DSPs) supports modern ElectroOptics designs.

TI's processing solutions include high performance ARM, DSP, and ARM+DSP solutions which are well-suited to avionics applications due to their high performance cores, high throughput peripherals, including HyperLink which provides an up to 50Gbps link to other SoCs and FPGAs, and reliability features such as extended life cycles, industrial temperature ranges, and ECC memory. Linux and commercial RTOSes from Wind River and Green Hills are available.

High performance support products include a broad selection of Mixed Signal/Analog, ASICs, FIFOs and Advanced System Logic functions. TI MPD offers Enhanced Plastic (EP), MTO (ceramic/commercial processing), MIL-PRF-38535 Class Q (ceramic/military qualified) and MIL-PRF-38535 Class V (ceramic/space qualified) product processing flow options. With over 3500 Class Q, over 300 EP and over 200 Class V products to choose from, military system designers can select from the following product areas:
