Synchronous rectification

Low IQ
SIMPLE SWITCHER DC/DC regulator ICs with low standby and shutdown quiescent current are ideal for battery-operated systems or systems that spend a majority of the time in a standby state. In addition to improved performance, low quiescent current can also reduce system cost in these types of systems by eliminating the need for a low-IQ LDO in parallel to the regulator.

Step-up (boost)
In contrast to all other SIMPLE SWITCHER DC/DC step-down regulators, the family of boost converters is used to increase an input voltage to a higher output voltage.
This easy-to-use family of DC/DC step-up (boost) regulator ICs can provide up to 40 V output while also reducing board space. All of these devices are available with small packaging options – like the SOT23 at less than 3 mm x 3mm - and a minimal number of required external components.

AEC-Q100 qualified
SIMPLE SWITCHER has a large portfolio of easy to use DC/DC wide VIN switching regulators qualified to the AEC-Q100 automotive stress test specification. These devices are a great fit for nominal 12 V or 24 V battery systems, with input transient protection as high as 42 V.
