TI defines 3 categories of third-party solutions to meet different levels of requirements:

  1. Turn-key module
    • Complete end to end hardware and software solution for a particular application. These solutions are ready to go for production.
    • Variety of industrial applications including robotics, video surveillance, traffic monitoring, and HVAC
    • Variety of automotive applications including blind spot detection sensor, in-cabin sensors and near-field sensors
  1. Evaluation module
    • Hardware solution for accelerating the development process. Usually includes demo software to get started.
