Network Analyzers (Vector Network Analyzers - VNA)

Network analyzer IC solutions from Texas Instruments

Description

Vector network analyzer (VNA) is widely used for RF design applications, where it measures the performance of the RF & microwave components and circuits used in complex systems. VNA enables the measurement of S-parameters of RF circuits and devices which are used to ensure that the RF design of the circuits is optimized to provide the best performance. VNA is also used to perform impedance matching, balance measurement, etc. of RF circuits.

TI designs demonstrate high performance, low power, integrated frequency generation used in VNAs. TI designs help to implement low power programmable gain amplification for providing variable gain at the IF stage. TI offers the latest phase locked loop (PLL) synthesizers capable of generating wide frequency range and low phase noise local oscillators. TI’s high speed data converters with high number of bits are best suited for higher analysis bandwidth and large power dynamic range of the VNA. TI's ultra-low jitter programmable clock oscillators are an ideal choice to clock the High Speed Data Converters. Wideband RF amplifiers and ADC drivers can be used to optimize the RF front end design of the VNA. For performing signal processing of baseband signal or IF signal, TI offers performance digital signal processors (DSP). TI also offers precise power management solutions for various types of VNAs (benchtop, handheld and modular).
