Keyfob or Panic Button

Your repository for keyfob design resources

A keyfob is a wireless remote control device in building security systems that can arm or disarm a residential security system through the push of a button. Additional programmable features may be added including lighting control, garage door control, or a panic button. A panic button notifies a security dispatch center of an emergency or home security breach.

TI Designs demonstrate how to design efficient2.4-GHz or Sub-1GHz low power wireless communication for increased system battery life and range performance. They also show small footprint solutions for power management in noise sensitive systems.
