Clock stability is the single most important starting point for debugging hardware Ethernet issues. Verify that the clock configurations are correct. To satisfy some other peripheral, the clock configuration of the CPSW clock and the source PLL can sometimes change during development. Always compare the clock configuration that is already made in the out-of-box SDK examples and the CPSW example. This can be done by taking the TOP RCM register dump of PLLs and the MSS RCM register dump of CPSW from your application and by comparing the dump with the same in SDK examples.
