Failure: TX Packets Transmitted But RX Count = 0

Table 4-2 RX Errors Summary
Cause How to Check Fix
Loopback not enabled Read the PHY control register, check bit 14 Verify the PHY driver supports loopback. Check the PHY datasheet to verify the loopback register setting.
PHY reset during test Check if the link LED on the PHY turns off Verify the power stability of the PHY.
DMA RX not configured Check if hRxCh is valid Verify the DMA channel open succeeded. Check if the RX interrupts are enabled. Check the statistics to see if packets are reaching the host port.
RX buffer pool empty Check if rxFreeQ has buffers Verify LargePoolPktCount and MediumPoolPktCount in SYSCFG is adequate.
PHY clock domain isolation Check the board schematic for clock routing Potentially requires a PCB rework if not isolated properly.
