8.3.3.1 VCC2 Short to Battery Protection

The output stage of VCC2 is short to battery protected. No inverse current flow if external voltage is at or above OVCC2. This protection is for up to the rated Absolute Maximum Rating for this pin. If the device powers up with a short to battery that is above the rated voltage, the device can be damaged or reliability issues can occur.
