DS90UB914A-CXEVM
FPD-Link III deserializer evaluation module
DS90UB914A-CXEVM
Overview
The DS90UB914A_CXEVM evaluation module (EVM) helps you evaluate the operation and performance of the DS90UB914A-Q1 25-MHz to 100-MHz FPD-Link III deserializer (DES). The device translates a high-speed serialized FPD-Link III interface transported over a single 50-Ω coax cable into 10 or 12 bits of LVCMOS data.
The DS90UB914A-CXEVM board features an SMB at the FPD-Link III input and a 0.1-inch IDC connector interface connector for the LVCMOS outputs.
Included with the EVM is a USB2ANY interface adaptor. The USB2ANY interface adaptor can be used to communicate with the DS90UB914A-CXEVM board or a paired serializer through I2C. This adaptor dongle connects to a PC through a standard USB interface and should be used in conjunction with our analog framework utility for the TI LaunchPad™ development kit (ALP) software.
The EVM has one deserializer device and one USB2ANY dongle.
- Programmable data payload: 10-bit payload up to 100 MHz; 12-bit payload up to 75 MHz
- PCLK from imager or external oscillator mode
- Continuous low-latency bidirectional control interface channel with I2C support at 400 KHz
- Four dedicated general-purpose input-outputs (GPIOs)
