Description
The PinMux Utility is a software tool which provides a Graphical User Interface for configuring pin multiplexing settings, resolving conflicts and specifying I/O cell characteristics for TI MPUs. Results are output as C header/code files that can be imported into software development kits (SDKs) or used to configure customer's custom software. Version 4 of the PinMux utility adds the capability of automatically selecting a mux configuration that satisfies the entered requirements.
The capabilities of the original PinMux tool have been extended to include a powerful set of software configuration capabilities. The new features are available in the SysConfig tool. As the SysConfig tool contains a superset of the PinMux tool features, future development of PinMux has been moved to SysConfig. It is recommended that users of the PinMux tool start development work with the SysConfig tool.
