Overview

The SimpleLink™ Wi-Fi® CC3200 Audio BoosterPack enables the evaluation and development with the digital audio peripheral [I2S] present on the SimpleLink™ Wi-Fi® CC3200 device. It contains a Class-D power amplifier to drive speakers and an ultra-low power audio codec, TLV320AIC3254, supporting programmable audio processing. Speakers, headsets, and microphones are sold separately.

This BoosterPack can be used along with the SimpleLink™ Wi-Fi® CC3200 LaunchPad™ (CC3200-LAUNCHXL), SimpleLink™ multi-standard CC26x2R wireless MCU LaunchPad™ development kit, or SimpleLink™ Bluetooth® Low Energy CC2640R2F wireless MCU LaunchPad™ development kit. Applications in the compatible SDK include: Wi-Fi speakers, doorbell, baby monitor, Wi-Fi headsets, Wi-Fi audio streaming, and walkie-talkies. Sample applications require two CC3200 LaunchPads and CC3200AUDBOOST kits.
